typhoons occur three months in a year. the rest is plain sunshine.

owning golf courses are actually good investments. a single membership right fee costs around php 5 million. multiply that by 100 members at a minimum.

that does not include course usage fees and annual membership fees.

I think the resort is on the island of Mindanao. Typhoons don't pass there often.

Here's the "normal" storm trajectory in the Phil.



Manny's resort is in the south, well away from the normal path of typhoons. Also the article said, " Some folks within the area are already enjoying the view from its location. " which suggest the the place has good elevation making it safe from floods.
