Floyd dismantles and stops Manny in 10

Discuss the severe overrating that Pacman is receiving from the media and fans alike..

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the undefeated pound for pound #1 fighter. The creme de la creme, Cotto stands a better chance of making it out of a fight with Manny than he does against Pretty Boy Floyd.

Manny is an aggressive, almost overzealous volume puncher, he is tailor made for PBF to pick apart. Floyd's defense is too much, but he is also the better athlete and bigger stronger fighter. You could argue that Manny has more pop on his punch, but I don't see it.

If the fight comes down to toughness, Floyd has never been finished and for good reason. I don't know what you Pacman fans who think he will beat Mayweather Jr. are seeing, can you enlighten me?

I see this fight going back and forth for the first few rounds until Floyd turns it up and begins to pick his spots brilliantly and finishes Pacquaio late against the ropes.

Mayweather aint stoppin Pac. If Cotto couldn't hurt him, then PBF can't.

He can outbox him to a UD, but I would be very, very suprised if he stops him.

In reality there are only two likely scenarios for this fight. Mayweather coasts to an easy UD, or he takes a nap on the canvas at some point during the fight.

i respect that you think floyd is the better fighter and that you think he'll beat manny.. but stop with the BS "overrated" talk please.

you probably thought DLH hatton and cotto will whoop him cuz pac is all hype..
but he DESTROYED all of them and proved the doubters wrong. and i dont wanna hear any coulda woulda shoulda hypothetical BS excuses. fact is he DESTROYED them when you doubters thought it was the end of the "hype".

floyd is a great fighter but so is pacquiao.

Cotto power at WW is overrated...he broke Judah's will after accumulation (and low blows) but he never hurt anyone with a name at welter. Floyd tho, you never know...he often hold his power to a degree to avoid hurting his hands, but his short punches are dangerous, besides his ko of Hatton, look at The Dela fight @ 154, Hoya almost went down after a short right hand on the inside, Manny never stunned him like that @ the draining weight of 147

Oscar was dehydrated and well past his prime, yet Manny couldn't KO him with this 'devestating knockout power' he seems to have. Even still Oscar managed to win a few rounds.

Mayweather has a much higher Boxing IQ and possesses the hand speed to make Manny pay each time he makes a mistake. I doubt Pac is able to get through Mayweather's defence and land so easily as he did against Cotto.

Manny is a great fighter, but you're overrating him if you think he will completely destroy Mayweather.

I don't think Pacquiao is overrated at all, I just think style wise Floyd takes this one, possibly by KO (but I also thought Cotto's style would beat Manny, so we'll see). I'm stoked as hell for this fight.
