Its just disgusting, it really is.
Every single time Jones loses, theres always an excuse.
But the funny thing is, prior to the bout he lost,
"oh, Roys gonna beat that ass"
"Roys gonna make it look so easy"
"Roy can't be beat buy this guy, hes too fast"
"Roy is just Roy".
After the loss,
"He was weight drained"
"Hes past his prime"
"Hes not the same Roy"
"In his prime he woulda,...."
You know, the real problem is that hes never developed a proper style. Look at how low his hands were even last night.
Another problem appears to be that he thinks hes so much better than everyone else that he doesn't take these fights as serious as he should. That alone is just one disrespectful aspect to who Roy Jones is. That guy in the corner doesn't buy into your hype or what his fans think of him.
Its funny too, he spent a large portion of his career wanting to be a businessman that he avoided fights fans wanted to see.
Now in the twilight, he keeps trying to prove that he is indeed a fighter and it keeps coming back to bite him in the ass.
All that money in the world won't erase 6 losses. 3 by KO.
The excuses need to stop. He was a great fighter, but not so far above and beyond everyone else like many like to claim.
