Boxing only includes boxing, and Silva is good boxer, but not on the world champion level like RJJ, he is on a high amateur level, maybe he could get some wins against bums, but RJJ is too much for him, shot to pieces or not.Comment

Stand-up includes boxing, kicking, kneeing, elbowing, clinching etc.. Silva has excellent stand-up, watch some of his training, he has complete package, beautifull kicks and knees, good elbows, and really good hands (for muay thai, there is big difference between thai boxing and pure boxing).

Let's see him try his "perfect standup" against a K1 fighter. Let's say Prime Aerts vs. Silva.
I know about Thai boxing and MMA and K1. And have trained in all of them. UFC clowns are not at high level THAI or DUTCH kickboxing levels. Sorry.Comment

Aerts is heavyweight, to big for Anderson.Comment

Don't get it twisted, Roy would still ROYALLY whoop Silva's ass in a boxing ring. Make it happen!
Now don't trash is stand up lead I do think for MMA, he is as good as it gets as far as standup goes.Last edited by SkillspayBills; 12-02-2009, 07:35 PM.Comment

If it's a boxing match, it's low risk-high reward. If it's a kickboxing match, it's high risk-high reward.Comment
