I agree to an extent, roy jones in his best days would probably have beaten any fighter out there, but the problem was he didnt fight great opponents.
People on this forum forget that in order to be called one of the best you have to fight the best. Just having great skills doesnt make you the best.Comment

So... If Roy Jones Jr. was no good and didn't fight top flight competition... then who was better than him in the roy jones prime era? I'm sorry Roy jones in his prime wouldn't have forgot about his footwork in the fight with green... This is silly to say he wasn't a legend some people have no respect for what these fighters go through to get up for all these fights... Now once he gets a Loss dudes wanna front on him like he wasn't something special in his prime... Where do these people come from? Yea ok... I learn something new everyday, such as Roy Jones Jr not being a ****ing amazing Boxer... Thanks for the rotten news... Way to kick the man when he is down and lost a fight... Peace haters.Comment

You're clueless mate.
The Hopkins win is amongst his best, considering how good Hopkins was/is. Hopkins was a fight more experienced than Jones and both were going for their first world title, both were young, fit and hungry and at the same stage of their careers as each other. Hopkins going on to win what he did just illustrates how good of a win it was for RJJ.Comment
