I dont disagree with you sam but i will say that if mayweather took issues with a contract tbe board would be in an uproar saying its a duck. It seems like Mayweather is easier to negotiate with people thought since arum already feels he has a deal worth showing.

why would Arum offer 60/40 to Floyd is he KNOWS Pac will not sign for it?

I mean, I don't know the terms. But the article said that Mayweather was given an offer that he could not refuse, so he signed. What does that entail, I'm not sure. But its a step in the right direction or Arum would not be headed to see him. Besides, I dont care about the split, I never did. Just want the fight to get made and for Floyd to have signed this soon, then the split is obviously not a problem for him.

If it ain't steroids, it's how much of an evil bastard he is for "forcing" fighters to drain, and now it's ducking Mayweather if he doesn't conform to Floyd's childish demands. I want this toy! I want that toy! I will scream if I don't get it!

Childish demands?? hahah..get out of here with that none sense...you guys are silly.

Well, what would Mayweather's be? "Hold on, I just need a tune-up with Matthew Hatton"? Is Floyd really that out of tune? ***** should go to a musical instrument shop if he's so badly needs a tune-up.

Pacquiao has more than one genuine reason: "Hey Floyd, sorry but I was thinking of running a country, you'l have to wait", and the fact that he just came off a tough fight with Cotto in which he (sometimes willingly) took punishment. The body needs time to rest, does it not? I mean, if you really think a Mayweather fight means pressure, then what kind of pressure does potentially being in charge of an entire country of 90+ million people mean to you?

that whole Matt stuff was a r u m o r and besides why even bring it up again if he has signed to fight Manny??

Just a few days ago, March was the date that Manny wanted and Freddie wanted. So Floyd signs for that date. If they chose not to fight the March date after they said they want Mayweather for that date..ITS A DUCK. Plain and simple.

Well, since you're such a good Christian... forgive us?

By the way, I am one guy, not "you guys". I very rarely make Mayweather threads and I wouldn't be creating any if he might be on the verge of becoming president of a country, especially if it had been planned for so long, nor if he didn't sign a contract he wasn't happy with.

That's exactly my point -- what would Floyd's excuses be? NONE. He doesn't have any. Manny at least has reasons not to fight, yet it's more likely he will, but only if he's happy with what's in the contract.

those excuses are null and void s a m. The reason they are is because Roach has come out and said that they want to fight in March because of the May elections. However, Roach went on record and said that Floyd didn't want to fight in March and they were going to fight Foreman. Which means, Manny was going to fight SOMEBODY in March. Therefore, Floyd signs TO FIGHT IN MARCH since Roach and Pac wanted the date moved up. Now, if they come up with an excuse NOT to fight in the MARCH date that they requested, ITS A DUCK, QUACK, QUACK.
