He might not have fought Benn or McClellan but I dont doubt he would have beat both of them
As good as Roy was he could never take a punch

as much as i love roy....and i have him in my top 10 atg...i admit his chin is suspect...once he lost his awesome speed and reflexes and his ability to see punches coming....his chin has been tested and embarresed...terrible chin....i felt so bad watching him get KO'd by greenComment

Benn maybe, McClellan im not so sure, at some point in that fight he would get hit. If your chin cant take shots from Tarver and Johnson it wont take shots from McClellan.Comment

As opposed to the A+ competition fought by the guy in your sig. Touche.Years of fighting D level competition masked this flaw but it finally caught up with him with interest.
Tarver & Johnson damn near made him a comatose patient and the punch today was nothing special but had him rolling on the floor like a baby.
Once his reflexes and speed went his punch resistance was well and truly exposed.Comment

Yes it's true but his defense was also dependent on those reflexes and speed. Basically his whole game. He did jab a little bit last night and the jab was still working.as much as i love roy....and i have him in my top 10 atg...i admit his chin is suspect...once he lost his awesome speed and reflexes and his ability to see punches coming....his chin has been tested and embarresed...terrible chin....i felt so bad watching him get KO'd by green
As someone said a while back, Roy has no strong boxing fundamentals in the defense department. His style was too dependent on him being an amazing athlete, in his prime.Comment

Lots of fighters have lost their punch resistance as they got older. Punches you dont see hurt you more. Your reflexes getting slowed dont help you to see those punches coming anymore. Not saying he ever had a great chin but you are exaggerating.Years of fighting D level competition masked this flaw but it finally caught up with him with interest.
