Wow...days seem to be going by so much faster now.
It was an exciting fight. I like round, back and forth, nonstop action, and at the end they walk to their corners staring each other down.

I was taken on a trip to South Carolina, Myrtle Beach, by Kronks PR man. On the trip he told me of what had happened before the fight with Hagler.

In Hearns' dressing room was Hearns and his entire entourage. Steward had left the dressing room for a little while n when he returned, with a very short time until the fight began, he found one of Hearns boys rubbing down Hearns' legs as he lay face first on a table. Steward immediately kicked every one out. Going into the fight he knew that because of this Tommys legs were not going to be right for th fight. But what could he do besides escort Hearns to the ring and hope for the best. This is the reason, I was told, that Hearns decided to slug it out with Hagler. He knew that his legs would be short with him thus giving us one of the best damned fights of all-time......Rockin'
