I dont understand how people say mayweather's gonna whoop that ass when i havent seen him do it since the gatti fight. All I can remember from mayweather in the past 5 years was him competing in a marathon.

Huh? Mayweather whupped Zab and Hatton's ass. Zab had to resort
to a low blow to stop his ass whipping and Hatton got KO'd...... Wasn't
that after the Gatti fight? All other fighters just got out landed and out
box and shut out completely. Man, some of you guys just don't like
Mayweather AT ALL. Sure I don't agree with everything he does and
says but give the man some credit and stop rewriting history.

I'm curious to know what the agreed upon weight is? I'm not surprised
that Mayweather agreed to the terms because he just wants to get Pac
in there and beat him to retain his slot on top of the pyramid and get paid.
He did the same for Oscar and Hatton. Agreed to their terms and beat them both.

The proposed super fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather is getting closer.

Mayweather agreed to terms for the welterweight title bout on Tuesday, multiple sources with knowledge of the negotiations told ESPN.com.

The proposed date is March 13, although there is a chance it could move to May 1, sources said. Mayweather, according to a source close to him, is OK with either date.

Pacquiao and Mayweather have fought recent bouts at catch weights. However if they complete their deal, the bout would be contested at 147 pounds, the maximum for a welterweight fight, a source said.

Did you see him time that check hook? He did it numerous times before

According to Dan Rafael of ESPN, the agreed upon weight is 147lbs. As it should be. You can't claim to be a welterweight yet your opponents have to fight you at a catch weight. Either way I believe Mayweather has the better skill set and he will demonstrate as such on whatever date they decide to meet. So to all the Mayweather HATERS, Floyd has stepped up to the plate. Will Pacquaio do the same? The ball is now in Manny's court.

This fight is a done deal. Mayweather agreed to terms set by Arum and Schaefer. So I thought Mayweather would be the one to screw with the negotiations. It's time for Pac to step up to make this happen.

Dude the schedule was originally Pacmans fight date not Floyd. Pac put a wrench on the promoters to make the fight on March 13 coz this is Pac original sched even before he fought cotto due to May 2010 Elections.

Moreover, Pacman has been trying to get a congressional seat since 2007 but he loss the 1st try. So this is not something new.
