Is Bob Papa the glue keeping BAD together ? without him i shudder to think how bad the telecasts would be.


Its a hand my the nearest bucket to throw up in time when they give Max Kellerman a chance to make his own little promo about up and coming prospects. You have Lennox babbling out about, what? nothing!

Bob Papa is the only one that seems to make the telecast enjoyable from my perspective. He knows how to broadcast and makes solid points and the right times, he does not get flustered like Lennox or overdo it with the superlatives (Kellerman)

i actually dont like bob pappa at all he doesnt seem to be a boxing guy more of a proffesional announcer who is not bad but not on the level of jim lampley emanuel steward ect guys who truly follow and love the sport

Bob Papa has been presenting Boxing telecast for quite a while. I have fights from back when Tarver fought Reggie Johnson where he is the announcer.

that doesnt change the fact that he isnt a boxing guy first more of a jack of all trades he is first and foremost a football guy and it comes off like that to me im not saying he is a bad announcer just not a great boxing announcer

No, I think Bob is just doing it because it's all he's hired for at the moment. To me, he wouldn't care if he was commentating boxing or MMA. I think Max Kellerman who I know gets a lot of hate, is the only one that shows true passion for the sport. Lennox has got to get fired ASAP. That guy makes my ears bleed he's so bad. co sign bob pappa has broadcasted football hockey and boxing this is his job and he is a profesional but he doesnt have the same passion for boxing that a guy like kellerman has even though max can be annoying as **** sometimes you know he truly follows and loves the sport
