I'm actually not so much gutted at the result, than knowing the result whilst watching the Hopkins fight (which was just an hour ago, finally). I could not believe those idiot hack commentators on Versus openly gave the result away like that! Do they do the same on Showtime and HBO for tape delayed stuff? Surely not...

I seriously want to firebomb the houses of Wally and that other guy. Fuck those spoiling pieces of ****. I was doing really well by avoiding the result until they chimed in. :angry1:

I'm glad the fight is not going to happen. It would have clouded history. I mean Roy is only a shell of himself and if he and Bernard fought, and Bernard won, it would have taken something away from Roy's prime win against Bernard.

Roy has made a ton of money and I really hope he hangs it up. He went from being so high and crashed so hard. I think he believes he can capture all that magic back. he did show us glimpses of his old self, but glimpses are just not enough to compete on an elite level.

I agree to an extent about losing to Bhop.. I still give Roy a decent chance JUST because of the styles... Nard isnt coming at Roy with a huge power right hand or 1000 punches a round.. but yeah, hard to favor Roy in any fight right now. Im interested to hear what is going to happen.. but I will support him no matter what the decision.
