David Tua was 37 last month, the clock is ticking.

I only just noticed that little milestone go by, and as a Tua fan I am a little worried, I thought David was 35.

I wanted David to try and get a fight with Haye, but he seems to have slipped back into his old ways. David was supposed to be fighting again this month, but that isn't going to happen, he turned down Chris Areolla, then he turned down Friday Ahunanya, and said that he will fight in January, (next month) no opponent has been named, although Hasim Rahman was rumoured. But now the line is that Rahman will be fighting Adamek instead. Also I hear that Tua is packing on the pounds again.

It seems like Tua, if he fights in January at all, will be fighting a no-name, it sounds like he is going to come in out of shape again. It might be like the time 3 years ago when he went 10 rounds with Robert Hawkins.

See, David needs to realize that the door is closing on him getting a title shot, I don't think that Tua is an attractive proposition for David Haye, so Tua needs to get himself into a mandatory position, before Haye fights a Klitschko, Tua needs to haul ass!

David Haye is not going to beat Ruiz, and then give Tua a title shot, rather than go after Wladamir Klitschko, it's not going to happen, Tua needs to give him no choice, but I don't see it happening. I think it will take Tua more than a year to get near to a title shot, by then Wlad and Vitali will be the only champions, and Tua will obviously find himself fighting the iron chinned Vitali.

So come on Tua, we don't want that, you need to be fighting once a month brah!

Vitali is older... And Tua is fine, he aged fine and just like Vitali Tua looks in pretty great shape especially Tua's thigh muscles. But you're right, he needs to step it up and fight someone soon

I'd like to see him get a title shot soon. He can be outboxed but is probably the most dangerous contender to the champion brothers right now.

I’m a big Tua fan myself therefore I share your sentiments to a degree, but on that same note I hate to break it to you but Tua has been out of the boxing loop for a few years only by his own admission. Though I’m not ruling out completely his potentiality in fighting on the elite level considering this talentless division but his attitude/behavior shows otherwise.

        Peace.

          Tua needs to be careful.

Chagaev, Povetkin, guys like that need to be avoided, because they can win a boring 12 rounder over him. Even Haye can run rings around him, but Tua has a good shot because of Haye's weak chin.

Guy needs to fight, period, and all I see is another huge layoff coming for him.
