Even if Floyd doesn't fight Matthew Hatton no other opponent would be acceptable except Shane Mosley and Paul Williams. If he goes in another direction besides that, there should be a public outrage. At least Pacquiao has Cotto and JMM on his resume. He's already proven himself at the lower weights. Mayweather just has Castillo and Corrales.

We all have what we like to see in a fighter, thats what makes BOXING GREAT ! If every fighter had the same skills then it would be robotic and not fun but boring.

What I dislike in a fighter is the OUTWARD Expressions of a QUITTERS HEART !!!!!!! I see this in Mayweather:

1. Won't take on all comers in the WW division
2. Runs his mouth like vile convoluted spue dripping from his lips that when said suits the occasion and disregards what he said a few days before, he changes like a chameleon, he is unstable in character, he is a picture of a great fighter but due to the character flaws and the need to eviscerate makes me believe until proven wrong his is a QUITTER at heart.

What I like in a fighter is what I see in Pacmang:

1. Not the smoothest boxer like a Sugar Ray Leonard but just gets better all the time he comes out.

2. Has the Character of heart that shows GAME written all over it. I would be shocked if he QUIT.

3. A game fighter comes to fight , Ali danced but he came to fight, I just watched again the fight between Mayweather and Castillo I and saw Mayweather running for his life like Cotto in rounds 7-10. There was a vast difference in Ali dancing running than Mayweather running , he ran out of fear of contact ! Ali danced to get into position to DRILL and excuse the expression KILL !

I get the drift , most all get the drift, we want to see two fighters come to fight not run and chase.

Mayweather is the mang with the SKILLS to run , pot shot and run again when a man like Pacmang is on his butt with shots coming from all directions and no hope to escape.

You pull fer ol Mayweather with the skills, and suspect HEART,,,,,, I'm pullin for the Mang that is PROVEN GAME with POWER TO KO MAYWEATHER WITH EITHER HAND, that will be smiling at the last bell .

...Jr will have to agree to 50/50 to make the fight or he can kiss Pac goodbye. Pac obviously has a lot of things in mind and not just money. Going for the eight belt and make 8 million is not too bad but Foreman looks so smart in the ring that he may win by decision....Jr. take the split!

i don't get it. for the record, pacquiao fought only once in a catchweight and that is with miguel cotto at 145. why is it some people associate pacquiao with catchweight. that's just BS.

Not a bad post mate , but the word quitter dont apply , as you fell of the turnip wagon you rolled in a pile of hate otherwise would know Floyd has not shown a single sign in that ring that suggests he will not be a game fighter , trouble is nobody has been able to get past his skills to really find out , so mate dont confuse the business side to in the ring side in terms of gameness .
Fools through history have always tried to paint this style fighter as being not game , they said the same with Ali Leonard , did they turn out game when they had to be , I will bet Floyd will as well , he is a great and they dont fold easy .

Yuri fight is riskier than Jr..but more rewarding...

..Pac will probably fight Yuri @ 154 because of the title. Yuri presents more problems for Pac because he is quick and has stamina to do it plus the guy uses his brains..the key would be his stamina to move around the ring.

Jr has a quick hands and a fast reflex but tends to slow down because he gets tired too.. a fight w/ Jr. is winnable but nothing really to cement it if he gets beaten other than millions in Pacs pocket. Jr. is also not the P4P king and doesn't have a title, while a win over Yuri is worth the risk because you get his title and people will be talking about Pac until another boxer wins 8 titles in 8 weight classes.....and maybe Pac can save Jr. as Icing on the cake.

ON A BAD SIDE:
$80million you say? Even if Pac will get all the money from this fight, it will NOT make him the Ampatuans of Maguindanao, the Mangudadatus of Sultan Kudarat, Ruben Ecleo Jr of Surigao, do I need to mention more? A teenager Ampatuan of Maguindanao can spit on Pac's face or worse than that if he likes to and Pac shouldn't react or else.............. If he wishes to be that powerful, politics is the answer.

ON A GOOD SIDE:
If he believes that entering in politics is his key to help people, then let it be. It's his decision anyway, not yours who doesn't know anything.
