I read an article that Floyd was considering a tune up with Matthew Hatton among other potential opponents, any truth to that?
Dan Rafael

Complete nonsense.

This is from Dan Rafael, the head guy from ESPN. No offense to any other boxing websites, but ESPN is clearly the best sport for boxing and he has the best insider access from ANYONE else.
What Jeff Mayweather says about Floyd Mayweather jr. and how he thinks about how Floyd would rather fight in England rather then fight Pacquiao is bull****.
Apparently Steve Kim is the one who first reported this story, but it is absolutely false. Steve Kim is normally a good source for boxing, but Dan Rafael is the head guy in the business. If he says it isn't true, it isn't true. I know this might be a stretch, but Kim and Arum are buddy buddy. How about if Arum told Kim to write about Floyd interested in a fight with England, so that when/if Pacquiao wanted to miss the fight do to his election, then it wouldn't look AS BAD because that's what people are saying now.
I've seen many more people blaming Mayweather for "wanting to fight Hatton" (which is BS), then Pac wanting to run for congress. Where is Steve Kim's source? I don't have a Max boxing insider thing, so I can't read his blogs.
Jeff Mayweather doesn't know ****. He was quoted how he thinks Floyd is more focused on England then Pacquiao, well how would Jeff Mayweather know this? He doesn't hang out with them and actually does a good job of separating himself from that mess.
Fighthype lists no credible sources, just that they have "sources" and they mentioned Quintana, Salita, and Hatton.
