Please Don't Take Pacquiao-Foreman Rumors Seriously

I can't believe people are actually believing this fight will happen. There's a lot of risk, and very little reward for the Pacquiao camp.

Do you guys really believe Pacquiao is gonna fight Yuri Foreman, the 6 foot, boring decision clubfighter who's never even been a main event? What are they gonna fight on ESPN Friday Night Fights? HBO will never buy it, you know it won't be PPV, how are you gonna put a guy 20-0 with 8 knockouts against bums in NY on a main event? Wow, they're going for an 8th title. Does that 154 title even mean anything to anybody? Everybody knows the only fight that means anything is 147 against Mayweather.

Foreman might even be too big for Pacquiao, and drag out one of the most boring decisions of all time. Foreman's not even a draw, just last year I remember he fought at the Aviator in Brooklyn, which didn't draw **** and aired on Versus, which happens to be on channel 146 in NY and nobody even nows about.

I don't even think the Mayweather camp will take this bargaining stunt seriously.

If I am wrong, you are all about to bear witness to one of the most boneheaded decisions of all time. I could think of about 10 more viable opponents for Pacquiao and Foreman isn't even in the ballpark.

Of course. Do you really believe Floyd Mayweather Jr. is gonna fight Matthew Hatton? Roger would beat Matthew, so would Floyd Sr. And I'm talking about right now. The only thing is Matthew is less dangerous for Floyd than Foreman is to Pac. Matthew Hatton isn't a huge draw either.

            Correct.
            This fight won't happen.
            Just posturing.

I think big george might have problems making Roach's catchweight

PS agree with TS, Foreman fight makes no sense at all. I'd be very surprised if it happened

                  Exactly what I'm sayin...

Take into consideration that people do talk **** and will say what they will to make the other budge, no matter how ridiculous it sounds. Pacquiao vs Mayweather is THE PREMIER fight in Boxing and being Boxing on the mainstream has been hanging on a proverbial thread, them balking at making the fight because of a few % above or under one fighter could equal a loss of much more money than either Top Rank, GBP, Manny Pacquiao, and Floyd Mayweather could ever make.

Give it time...Pacquiao is only 2 weeks removed from a victory over Cotto.
