I believe Trinidad will prevail in this one. Winkys a good fighter but i believe this is one in which power is gonna be the over-riding factor. Even tho Mayorga was only a blown up welterwight, he still can hit and he did hit Tito with some beauties in their contest (which i believe is still one of the best fights ive seen in recent memory) which shown to me that Tito can still take a punch and come through. Now with Winky not being the biggest puncher in the game by some way, i believe Tito has the capabilities to step through anything Winky has to offer and come back with powerful combos, much as he did against Mayorga. I know a lot of peeps will make the argument of Mayorga being easier to open up than a pack of crisps but still, in my opinion, with Winky not being able to throw anything that could really shake Tito the way 'El Matador' could then i see this being very much a one way street for Tito. On to Hopkins, i believe that Bernard is starting to slow down, the fight with Eastman showed this, even tho Eastman never showed anything at all Bernard wasnt willing to step in and force the fight at any point showing a bit of hesitiveness in his approach after talking up knocking Eastman out, if it did go to a second contest between Bernard and Tito i think Tito maybe a bit to busy for him this time but you never know with Bernard. I just hope they do fight again because the more super-fights we have the more interest in our great sport there is.

Winky's his biggest test since he's come back though. He's a fighter who fought abroad for years because the so-calld champs wouldn't give him his well earned shot and won't go down easily now that he has a measure of respect due to his virtual universal regard as THE man at 154. Tito is dangerous but he better not take him too lightly!

What's the old adage ... a fighter becomes that much better just by virtue of being a defending champion?

It should be a good one ... MAY THE BEST MAN WIN!

Tito's fight are always great and filled with drama. That's why he's so important to the sport. Love'em or hat'em.
