Sturm's problem isn't just his trainer. Besides Pavlik and maybe Paul Williams, there aren't a lot of compelling fights available to him at middleweight. He and/or his promoters blew it by not being willing to fight Abraham when AA was a middleweight.
If Sturm's actually ready to fight Pavlik or P. Williams or somebody of that caliber, good for him. Welcome to the big time. If not, he might as well stay in Germany picking up big paychecks for beating up nobodies, because he isn't going to make big money in the U.S. fighting guys like Jamie Pittman, Randy Griffin, Koji Sato and Khoren Gevor
