Mayweather vs. Pac - Would you like it to happen on March or September?

In all honesty, Mayweather's right hand wasn't as sharp as it should have been against Marquez; although he looked alot better then most had expected. I'm gonna say September as oppose to March.

I'd say September. That way both Mayweather and Pacquiao could get a tune-up and it would be much more hyped.

I doubt Manny would have a tune-up. He'd probably fight Foreman. Why does Floyd need so many tune-ups anyway. I thought he said Pacquiao is an easy fight?

september. march feels too rushed for a fight of this magnitude. see when pbf promotes a fight he goes all out, we're talking about wwe, mtv, talk shows, main stream media, etc, and 3 months is a bit short for this much promotion.

let pbf get his tune up, pac his 8th belt, let the hype build up for a few more months and they can fight when they're both ready. we waited years for this fcking fight, i'm pretty sure a few more months wouldn't hurt.

March just seems like a rediculous idea to me for an event thats not even put together yet. has manny's injuries even fully healed yet. A march fight would recquire him to start training camp and conditioning in early january for 8-10 weeks of training thats assuming they've signed the fight by the end of december which is a slim chance. I want to see these two at their very best and rushing it will diminish it as an event and as a fight. every fight needs good promotion to live to its potential even one as monumental as this one. I think Manny should rethink a march date. I know his political goals all but demand a fight before or after april-july but may seems like the best time and if not then september for a number of reasons.

This is too huge a fight to promote with a 3 or 4 month lead time.
If paman is hell bent on running for a congressional seat in his homeland March is too soon. According to wikipedia the elections will be held the first week of May 2010. I also believe it would favor FMJ to take a tune-up before locking horns with the pacman.
