145 Cotto looked really good. He still has speed ad power. He just couldn't handle it backComment

I have never disagreed with catchweight fights in boxing, they have brought us some great matchups. As long as both parties are agreeable to the terms and are able to make the weight without any risk to their health, what's the problem.
Cotto, for example, was told by his doctors that he would be fine at any weight above 144. Considering this, the catchweight of 145 for the Cotto-Pacquiao bout was reasonable. So far, no problems, right? That's unless you insist on making an excuse for Cotto, even though he hasn't made an excuse himself. Contrary, this is a recent quote:
"Its no concern of mine whether it is 145 pounds or not," Cotto said.
"That is the usual weight that we cut down to for the weigh in, and in the ring—on fight night—I will go up eight to 10 pounds, so actually during the fight I will weigh around 155," stated Cotto.
Regarding Foreman, if he's happy (and healthy) to fight at a suggested catchweight, I don't see a problem.
I didn't disagree with Hopkins-Pavlik, De La Hoya-Hopkins, Gans-Walcott, Norris-Taylor, Armstrong-Jenkins... and so on. So why would I disagree with a Pacquiao-Foreman bout if both parties are happy with the terms? A fair catchweight would be dead center between two divisions, and since technically, anything above 147 can be considered a Jr. Middleweight fight, 151, give or take half a pound, is quite reasonable. Personally, I would prefer it at 154, however.
Floyd is no better than anyone else. In fact, dishonoring a catchweight is far worse than the catchweight itself, in my opinion. It's deceitful, and he broke an agreement.
