Lmao, nothing anti-semetic about it. I was once aquainted with a semitic woman, liked her. However, this is a big Hanuka (sp) gift to Yuri from Arum.

      beating a welterweight doesn't mean you're a welterweight.

just like floyd beating oscar at 154 doesn't make floyd a super welterweight.

pacquiao came in 149 fight night. that's the same weight as some lightweights come into the ring as in their 135 fight. hell castillo use to come in 155 at 135.

Beating Miguel Cotto in such a fashion tells me that Pacquiao would beat all the welters around with the possible exception of Mayweather and to a lesser degree Mosley. Which suggests he's more than capable of beating a largely untested and frankly mediocre Yuri Foreman 9 pounds north. Hell, I bet he wouldn't even need to put on any weight and could win weighing 149lbs.

The Cotto fight was the bigger challenge on paper by a long shot.

              i disagree.

before the fight i thought cotto was the only top 147 guy he could beat because of the stamina issues and because cotto doesn't have sizeable reach and height advantages.

i think he could lose to all 4. probably be able to beat berto or if he catches mosley on an off night (as some older fighters tend to have)

pacquiao to me is a lightweight right now. a blown up lightweight.

he had favorable matchups with hatton at 140 and cotto at 147.

not to say they weren't great wins , they were but those guys didn't have height and reach advantages nor a style that would give pacquiao problems.

of course easy to say now. back then we didn't know pac would carry his power up with him nor that he would be able to take solid shots from 140-147 guys.

Tua is really trippin. Berto, Clottey, Shane? Paquiao would beat those 3!
