My best boxing moment was the first time that I fought at The Palace of Auburn Hills. It was an amatuer show featuring Team Michigan vs. Team Sugar Ray Leonard. A few months before the bouts Jackie Kallen had taken me down to Detroit where Sugar Ray Leonard was recieving an award or something and she introduced me to him and such.

I was in my senior year of highschool at the time and had a bunch of buddys as well as my art teacher and a bunch of kids from the class in the crowd cheering me on.

I was 16 at the time and I was matched to fight a guy that was 23 I believe. It was really neat experiencing the palace for the first time as a fighter. Micheal Buffer announced our names and such and we started throwing. There were alot of people in the arena, yelling and screaming and carrying on. It was really fun.

The next week the fights were broadcast on C.N.N Sports as well as a local cable company called pass. I won the fight by decision but it was a close fight. They actually announced my victory over the PA at school where my history teacher stood from his seat and clapped for me, the other kids were sort of amazed that the quiet kid was actually a fighter. That was one of my best memories from boxing.........Rockin'

              Here are mine.
              Zoo/Judah

Zoo/ Pedro Sanchez - this was only the 2nd fight I had been to, and I had a great view. I was there with my dad, and 3 friends. It was only 2-3 weeks aften I had broken my jaw playing football, and I had to be careful 'cause I was jumping so much!

Zoo/ Mitchell 2 - Special fight for me, because my dad was in hospital having chemotherapy - I phoned him up between rounds 2 & 3 & then when it was over. He was very excited, as was I ...!

Personally, for me it was in Feb when I flew down to vegas for my 1st big fight in seeing Pacquiao vs Morales live.

I met countless amounts of fighters and fight related people from JC Chavez to Roy Jones, Eric Morales, Miguel Cotto, Winky Wright, Jeff Lacey. Too many to name.

The fight was great and just hanging out there for the few days before was a great experience.
