****m should've predicted it in the open .. instead of saying "I picked cotto to win" after the bout.

Richardson is full of it, Pacquaio is no full fledge welter. If Pacquiao was a full fledge welter Cotto would have been out of there earlier. Just because Pacquiao beat a welter doesn't mean he a welter. Pacquiao can still make 135 if he have too.

Wrong. Pacquiao regardless of his dimensions--can take a punch of a WW and give it back with interest. He may be a JWW but if he wants to fight at WW--it better be at 147 not a catchweight or less go back down to 140.

Pacman is just a hell of a fighter! he can make 140 without problem but then the money fights is at 147 and hes proven welter now so theres no problem with it...

Is that why Sugar Ray Leonard is regarding as the original catch-weight king?

It takes nothing away from his overall greatness.

Some guys just have a tremendous ability to shred down/dry out in weight: Pac, Clottey, Gooz, Gatti, Funeka, etc.

Other guys can't seem to do it, or are unwilling to do it: Judah, Mayweather, Malignaggi, Campbell

Manny has been fighting as a welterweight going back to his days at SFW. He is one of those guys who re-hydrates 16 pounds.

I said during the Firepower build-up that Manny wasn't the little guy that Cotto was thinking, and I keep hearing Roger making the same mistake ("little as that dude is?")

But nobody ever really considers that LHW championship as real. SRL gets credit for fighting Hagler, etc at the real limits.

on the other hand, not only is it not one of his most memorable wins, nobody really considers that fight to be one of his great ones.
