Pacquiao gets mad love from the Philipines, everyone and their mothers, even the freaking president consider Manny a national hero. Of course Manny is going to be happy where he's at.

Most americans just wants to see Floyd lose, somehow. They don't even care who does it anymore
    .
And why do you think that is?

Boxers respect both fighters but more so Manny right now as he is taking on tough challenges. Floyd is resting on his laurels a bit but in the past he has achieved a lot but if he sets up a fight with Manny he will go right up in estimation. Boxers respect Floyd's skills more than Manny's but Manny's non stop attack counters any difference in skill. Right now it seems after the Cotto fight Manny's respect level has gone right up. there have been several fighters predicting that Manny can beat Mayweather which was not the case before.

although both fighters gets a lot of respect, i still think PAC aint getting enough credit for his body of work, while PBF's POTENTIAL alone gets a lot of it ...

Because the Philippine people are united around him, that's why. The same way everyone used to love Bill Clinton as a president. Barack ***** is a good president too but he gets demonstrations and protests constantly even though those protesting are the ones who most will benefit from the health care reform as they are uninsured lower class whites mainly.
I think it's racism. If Floyd was a white boy he would get mad respect and protection from everyone including Larry Merchant. This would in turn turn Floyd into a kinder person. In the Philippines they don't have to put up with that ****, specially not Manny.

I have a lot of respect for both of them. Regardless of what people say they train hard and behave like profesionals.

When you look at all the athletes that do drugs, drink and just don't take things seriously you start to appreciate the attitudes these fighters have with regard to their health.

It sets a better example for the youth too.

This is such nonsense, and part of the reason that people dislike him.

Manny fights the best, Floyd cherry picks. Then when people mention it, his fans accuse them of racism

The ***** thing is a joke too.

              First it was

"***** won't win the nomination coz he's black" then you guys got proven wrong and it became "***** won't become president coz he's black" then you guys got proven wrong again and it's now "people don't agree with all of his policies coz he's black".

People like you need to look at your own level of racial bias rather than constantly accusing everyone else just because they don't agree with you on every little thing.

that explains why sugar ray robinson, henry armstrong, ali, leonard, foremann... etc...... are so highly thought of in the boxing community. Ali was also a loudmouth, he started the trash talk, but he never got the hate floyd did...

why? floyd's an *******. He'd rather tell a lie than the truth, and he contradicts himself more than anyone on the mic. He constantly whines like a teenage little girl. He himself said he likes playing teh bad guy, now that everyone hates him, he's confused? including his mindless fans. Even as a rapist, tyson never got this much hate, and was still respected and feared in the boxing ring. On the other hand, everyone is trying to get a piece of floyd, but he avoids, and everyone hates him for it. Why he or his fans dont understand this and blame it on race, i'll never know.

But hey, everyone else is just a racist right? Let me ask you, what ethnicity are you?

This is a product of Floyd's doing though. If you watch his fights on undercards or his earlier fights, he is as humble as anyone can be. But as a good guy, the money wasn't coming in so he realized that he had to become the villain because he noticed that if you're undefeated and you're the villain, everyone is going to watch your fight because everyone wants to see you lose.
