Is it Golden Boy curruption or just bad judges?

Lol...Paulie had his moments, but Diaz was catching him too.
Close fight.
Guzman/Funeka was a robbery. Nobody would complain about the Diaz fight if it wasn't for that 118-110 score.Comment

Boxing is corrupted in general. Top Rank and any other promotional companies pull out the same tricks. You just can't blame Golden Boy.Comment

Nearly all the boxing promotions are corrupt, its jsut the way it is. The way i see it is this, alot of the dodgy decisions in the big fights, its usually the most marketable fighter at the time or who is going to be in the future wins. Especially when it comes to unbeaten fighters who are touted as the next big thing. Case in point Castillo/Floyd 1. Most people will say that JLC won that fight, but he wasn't marketable, he had already been beaten before he fought Floyd and their wasn't no money in him, but Floyd the unbeaten olympic medalist who had been hyped up as the next Sugar Ray Leonard he had the future infront of him. I always thought BHop beat Taylor in the 1st fight, but Taylor was unbeaten at the time also he had abit of hype looked like he was gunna be a very good prospect, Hopkins had the titles for so long and lets be honest their aint much money in Hopkins because he makes his fights too boring, as Taylor was gunna be the heir apparent Hopkins had to take an L somewhere, especially if the fight was close, like it was, but I think Hopkins did enough in the last 2/3 rounds to win the fight..Comment

It's because the first half was closer than the 2-4 Lederman was pushing that everyone somehow has the same score
. Guzman landed more than 30 power punches than Funeka.
It's a pick your poison situation, either a promotional company with robberies or one that has their fighters ducking threats (Lopez and Pavlik).Comment
