Khan is fighting a guy ranked number 60 on boxred this weekend, ok hes undefeated but hes still rank 60 and hes fighting in theory someone at least in the top 8. This is ok for a Khan first title defence but if they are gonna basically buy him a title and now market him as a champion then he needs to fight contenders. Look down the list at 140lbs and there are plenty of tough opponents before you even get to Hatton. How about the winner of Diaz vs Paulie? Maybe get him in with Junior Witter if you want a domestic tear up. Its typical cowardly tactics by Frank Warren and his people to try catch Ricky whilst hes down and just been knocked out and lookin in the worst shape of his career. Hear this Amir, you dont deserve a Hatton fight, you arent number 1 in the division since losing you fought ***in...a bum, Barrera....old shot and it still should have been a NC, Kotelnik....pretty good test but the weakest of the champions. Why should you now be the man that fights Hatton? Fight the people who are around you in the rankings there are plenty of them.

Id love Hatton to come out of retirement and knock Khan out and retire, it would be great because this is all a plan by Frank Warren to make Khan number 1 box office in the UK but i dont think he should because he doesnt need to. Khan hasnt earnt that fight end of!

Hatton is better than Diaz and Mallignaggi. Hatton was in no different shape post Mayweather, than he was post Pacquiao. For the past two years he has always ballooned up after fights. ***in and Barrera were comeback fights which is 100% understandable considering his devastating KO loss to Prescott. And he fought Kotelnik who is a good, solid competitior at 140. Salita is also a mandatory. There is nothing wrong with his recent opposition. Plus Khan is a huge star in the UK. A fight with Hatton would break British PPV and attendance records. So it's pretty short sighted and unintelligent to say that Khan hasn't earnt the right to fight Hatton. If it makes money it makes sense. The British fans would lap up a Khan vs Hatton fight. A win for Khan would elevate him to world class status, and a win for Hatton would be a good way to end his career or make one last attempt to conquer the 140 division. The fight makes more than sense for both fighters. Personally I don't want to see it, because I want Hatton to retire, but I can't deny that it is a great opportunity for both fighters.

Oh, and why aren't Alexander and Maidana calling Khan out? Boxing takes two to tango. Anyway, Bradley is probably a step too far for Khan at this moment. He needs a few more fights before taking on 140's best. Alexander isn't a big name, and hasn't called Khan out. Plus his only good win was over the vastly overrated Junior Witter who isn't even as good as Kotelnik. Maidana lost to Kotelnik, and only has the one good win over Ortiz...who quite frankly isn't very good.

Salita, Marquez or Hatton, and then Maidana is good enough for me.

Rubbish, Khan doesnt deserve to fight Hatton who has been in the ring with pacman and mayweather. Yeh you are right Hatton is in theory better than Diaz etc, but we dont know how he is since his ko and a layoff of at least a year by the time he comes back.

The only reason Khan gets the fight is because hes British, and for me thats not good enough. He should fight more top 10 fighters and then if Hatton is still around maybe then he should get the chance, or whoever else is top of 140 at the time. You cant just beat a few shot useless fighters and then say....oh i wanna fight the best. Guess what he doesnt deserve it, its a marketing ploy by Frank Warren, hes knows this is his best chance to catch the Hitman whilst hes down and perhaps out.

There are plenty of good fights at 140 for Khan if he wants to take them, why call Hatton out? Coz they are betting on Hatton being shot thats why!

They see Hatton as a fighter on the slide and an easy way to make a lot of money. I hope it does happen but Frank Warren would need to **** off first.

Khan is a fraud. He is being closely looked after by Roach and Warren, picking easy/no risk fights. Doesn't help when Khan has a big mouth but does nothing to back it up.
