taylor was way down against him and hes a skilled dude (it was a shop worn taylor though i admit)
the problem with fighting Abe is the only time he is open for big shots is when he is throwing, and thats the time you dont wana be anywhere near him

I agree with you. I am giving them a chance but AA is going to win the tourney in my book.

And yeah, he's won decisions before against fairly slick guys.

i think it could also depend on the judges and what they like i suppose
dirrell could be throwing a lot of shots but mostly hitting arms and gloves but a few glancing through with abe only throwing a handful of punches but with more behind them landing flush
who knows, its an interesting clash of styles

AA is one devesting puncher. He can knock a guy right out of the ***in ring, if he catches him well. He's very powerful and fast, and really commits to those punches. Dirrell is beaten before the fight even begins. AA beat miranda with a broken jaw, then ko'd him early in the 2nd fight.

Ward is the only guy i see able to get to AA. He has the power, speed, agility, ring smarts, great lateral movement to keep AA turning so as not to commit fully to power punches. I still got Ward winning, if just barely. But i bet he does it with a bit of a good lead.

AA is not fast, just powerful with an average defense. That's all people ever says about him is his power because that's all he has. Damn....

What?? He's quite fast for his weight class, And his defense is impenetrable.
He's like a clam when he "shells up". You just can't hit the guy. Then he comes out of that shell with short but devastating combos, that are very powerful, and fast. It's either him or Ward taking the tourney, and you say he's "average"? Wow.

Abraham is a world-class, well-rounded boxer with exceptional one-punch power.

His only downside is his size, he's only about 5'9" and at super middleweight he's fighting opponents who are 6'1".

This could give Dirrell little bit more time to develop a strategy against Abraham. But AA is the more complete fighter, I believe Ward and AA will be the last two in the tourney.

exactly, and considering how dirrell responded to getting close to froch i dont think he will react well to abraham opening up on him. arthur is beatable, it takes a calm and relaxed fighter to do it though, dirrell has the speed and skills to do it but i dont think he has the nerves to stay close enough to counter abraham. ward does however, and is the only real threat to abraham in this tourney.

^^^agreed. I watched the Ward-Miranda fight last night and Ward looked great. He totaly outboxed Miranda, and for a change Ward was the victim of headbutting. But he recoverd quickly from that and went on to a very wide UD win. And Miranda has a devastating right. It broke AA's jaw in their 1st fight, which AA won despite the broken jaw...hahahaha.
