If Floyd Jr - Cotto fight does it outsell PAC's 1.25 ?

Floyd claims to be the biggest PPV attraction, based on common opponents, he has a valid point. Now that PAC outsold Floyd in their most recent outings, the Filipino Franchise has got a strong case as well.

So, do you guys think Floyd could outsell PAC if he were to face Cotto next and not PAC ? State your reasons.

Personally, I think Floyd had the stronger PPV's when facing common opponents such as DLH and Hatton is because he fought them first. After a loss, I think the value of a fighter goes down. In Floyd's case against Marquez, he had the "big comeback fight" gimmick to sell.

I didn't ask if Floyd beats Cotto. Do you think Floyd outsells PAC if he were to fight Cotto as well ?

Perhaps. Cotto is looking like damaged goods to the general public, so I don't know if they would get excited about it. Let Cotto win a few more fights and then see how it does.

                  Man, y'all are some st*pid mother****ers ain't ya.

I didn't ask about two years ago, or even 4 months ago. Do you think Floyd-Cotto can outsell PAC-Cotto, eventhough PAC already destroyed Cotto ?

My thing is, I really think that Floyd outsold PAC against DLH and Hatton is because he got first dibs on them, and after a loss, a fighter loses their shine. It just so happens that DLH and Hatton have such big/loyal fanbases!

Floyd vs. Cotto would've done better than 1.25 if it happened directly after Clottey. I'd estimate that it might do 1.65 or better. After the Pacquiao fight though, that fight would be on regular HBO and not PPV.
