    GUZMAN deserved a rematch anyway

Awful Decision, but lets not blame it on GUZMAN.

GUZMAN fought his ass off and tried his absolute best. I even gave him the 11th i believe it was, or one of those very late rounds. incredible heart.

BUT, Guzman was CLEARLY effected by that cut caused by an accidental headbutt. AS SOON as that cut opened up, he started falling apart. He was dominant before that.

Im not saying thats why he lost, but it clearly affected him.

I say he deserves the rematch anyway, and maybe this awful disgraceful decision was the only way he was ever going to get one.

Guzman smiled till the end, this should do him good. I want him to return, rematch Funeka or against any opponent. Keep active.

I don't think the cut from the headbutt was his biggest problem. It was the busted nose that was killing him. He had a small cut previous to taking that headbutt too. He was going to have a difficult night either way.

why does guzman deserve a rematch he was outboxed and beaten up by funeka he did show great heart by staying in there but what does funeka have left to prove against guzman?? and if the fight was judged correctly why would he have to give guzman a rematch????

since when does a 12 round ass-whupping merit a rematch (unless there is a rematch clause)???

I honestly don't believe the headbutt had much to do with it.

Guzman won the first 2 rounds. Not a shocker or a big deal. Those are basically feel out rounds ina 12 round fight. Funeka then began to get his measurements down and figure out the distance, especially with his jab. This is when he busted up Guzmans nose good, before the headbutt even happened. Then he just upped the pace and basically beat Guzman up for the rest of the fight.

If anyone DESERVES a rematch it is Ali Funeka not Guzman lol he clearly dominated that fight and didn't get a win. But there is no need for one he won so decisevely.

I'm a Guzman fan, but it is what it is.

Nah,it was the 3rd round jab that broke or busted Guzman's nose, not the headbutt!!

Busted nose or not, Joan fought the wrong fight after the first two rounds.

If a rematch does happen, Joan can't fight like Joan, he has to fight Funeka like he did the first two.

Guzman has been so used to, and have beaten people his own size by pot-shottin' em. Fighting a 6 footer when your @ss is 5'3, there's only one way to go about it, and that's pressure, pressure, pressure !!

after that nose sitaution.. it ruined him.. i truly will favor guzman in a rematch.. if he doesnt get a bloody nose.. he needs to work on his conditioning and eating habits.. get the chulo a ****in nutritionist. he was fighting great until that nose bleed.. i dont even know what caused that nose bleed, funeka didnt hit him with **** those to rounds
