He just beat tall Nicaraguan Marlon Marquez by a wide UD in 8 , a boxer than in his last fight fought for a World Title in Argentina versus one of the Best, Omar Narvaez.

Tomoki put him down 2 times in the fourth, a shame he couldn't get the KO.

But a great learning experience, he went 8 rounds, and those rounds will help him a lot in the future.

From what can i remember hearing, it was early in Duran's career, he live in Mexico for awhile.

And Arguello trained in Mexico City for years with "Cuyo" Hernandez


Legendary mexican Trainer Arturo "Cuyo" Hernandez trained him, he was already featherweight champ, but with Cuyo, he won the Superfeatherweight beating Alfredo Escalera in 1978 and the Lightweight title, he trained him all of those years, unitl "CuyO" Hernandez didn't want to train him anymore for his fight in Light Welterweight with Aaron Pryor.

Yeah that's his GF, but he could have got better in Mexico City haha.

And he learned spanish reading books and living in Mexico, there's also a Japanese trainer in the Gym where he is training.

That trainer must have helped Tomiki with his spanish too.

He also made his entire amateur career in Mexico, he never had an amateur fight in Japan.

Haha no, but he has live in Mexico since he was 15, he is now 18.

He is the younger brother of the famous Kameda brothers (Kouki and Daiki) of Japan.
