That seems alot. Even more than Roach's 10% therefore I don't believe it. But I keep on reading and hearing he IS getting 27% of Manny's purse. If its true thats a straight out robbery!

i'm guessing he gets 27% of the event and not manny's purse. if so, then manny isn't seeing a lot of his money. 35 percent going to taxes, 27 percent to arum, 10 percent to roach, and that's not counting travel, lawyers, accountants, manager, etc. that would mean he takes in less than 12 percent of his purse.

Might be. But you have to consider why they are using MP promotions, Cotto promotions, Mayweather promotions, Marquez promotions etc. etc.

That is where they get 50% of their income (no deductions).
The other half is where the promoter gets his cash, as well as the trainer I believe.
Plus, a lot of bob arum's money come from the sponsors, as well as MGM grand who pays a huge amount of cash for them to stage the fight.

You can only get to "insert_your_name promotions" if you have reached stardom though.
