..BOXING GODS: Please, Let Us Have...

    Kameda-Wonjongkam and Segura-Mayol.

For us lovers of the lower weight classes.

    Please. That is all.

Feel free to pray to your boxing god for the fight(s) you most want to see.

Plus, those two fights would crown two, new, TRUE world champions....

Damn, a lot of that rhymed.

I think Wonjongkam is Kameda's mandatory so Kameda probably has to fight him next unless Naito has a rematch clause and chooses to use it.

Segura-Mayol could be really good but that fight really seems like another controversial ending due to a headbutt.

I remember reading that if Naito won he'd have to face Pongsaklek for a 5th time, so now that Koki's won, I assume he'll have to.

Kameda is the True/lineal world champion. He just won it from Naito. A fight with Kameda-Wongjonkam will crown the ring champion.

Yeah, I think there was a rematch clause, but I doubt the fights ends any differently. Wonjongkam is getting up there, and it might be time for ayoung buck like Kameda to clean up the division and claim the crown.

As for Segura-Mayol, I hope it's a war and someone gets beaten down before their damn heads get in the way of a good thing.

Wonjongkam-Kameda would be an interesting fight, Wonjongkam is getting up there but it's not like he's worn down or anything like that, he has power and good skills.
