    Starting boxing

    Im 17 and interested in starting to learn how to box, I have boxed with friends befor but no technique or refs or points or anything. I would like any sugesstions anyone has to offer, and would like to know if its too late to start learning.

    Any advice is apreciated thank you.

    17 is a good age to start. Let me know what state your in and Ill find a gym near you to call and possibly join........Rockin'

            They dont have a number listed or person to contact for northern cali. However, you can call (719)866-4506, its the national office of the usa/abf. They will direct you as to where to go to find what your looking for.......Rockin'

                Start working on your cardio even before you have a chance to start at the gym. Distance runs and wind sprints but with rest days between them. There is nothing more frustrating than being dead tired and getting your as* whooped.
