hopkins is just putting this out there to make it like arum is avoiding the fight but in reality this is just a negotiating tactic much like when bob claims that floyd will price himself out of the fight and is avoiding manny i smell bull**** on this one and i think mayweather vs pac gets made by team mayweather golden boy and top rank not for the good of boxing but because the ridiculous amount of money that will be made

There's no way Pac would fight Foreman. That fight just doesn't make sense. There's too many other names out there even if he doesn't end up fighting Mayweather.

I've read a lot of the posts both anti Floyd and pro Floyd...the one thing that I think is being overlooked is the fact that Hopkins said ARUM doesn't want this fight to happen. If the early talk of the purse being a 50-50 split is true, why all this BS from Arum? Hopkins is obviously part of GBP, so he would have an idea of what's going on in negotiation talks. I don't think there's any reason to doubt him.
Also, it's amazing how much of a pass Pac gets for beating nobodies. He's being called an ATG by some people out there. Why? He's beaten fighters that Floyd has already beaten. It doesn't matter what kind of fashion he did so, he still beat them BEFORE Pac did. Why aren't those calling Pac an ATG, giving Floyd the same respect? He doesn't take risks? BS. He destroyed Diego Corrales when Diego was supposed to be the top challenger at lightweight. Knocked him down 5 times I think. Floyd has beaten everyone he's supposed to beat.
Floyd doesn't fight for the fans and he's not supposed to. Who cares if the fans want knockouts? Floyd is the one in the ring risking his life. He's the one with the skills. Not the fans. Floyd doesn't fight any differently than Ali or Roy Jones. Both great boxers.
Hell, Jones never had any real meaningful fights. The biggest names on his record are Toney and Hopkins. Yet you all talk about how good of a boxer he is. Give Floyd his due!!!!!!!!!!!
Cotto...real welterweight? Funny, how is he a real ww, when he started out junior welterweight? How is 145 the ww limit? De la Hoya, real ww? Hadn't fought at welterweight in 9 years before fighting Pac. Pac has not had one real legitimate ww fight. Everything is a catch-weight. Floyd will expose Pac for the fraud he truly is.

shane v floyd, great possibility as pacmans more risky. if they think that money may cant ducked/floyded shane and pacman as they pose greatest risk to money may they would rather fight mosley instead of pacman they would rather lose to a brutha than to the malay spitfire.
