Bernard Hopkins tells BoxingScene.com that he doesn't think a Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao mega-fight will come off. He is convinced that Bob Arum of Top Rank, and Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions will not reach a deal for the fight. He appears very sure that Mayweather will face Shane Mosley [should he beat Andre Berto on January 30] and Pacquiao will move up to 154 to chase an eight divisional title by taking on WBA champion Yuri Foreman. Hopkins forgot to mention that if Pac "moves up" it will be at a catchweight of 147 for the 154 strap. Pac will want all advantages or it wont happen...

IMO, it wont happen at all. I'm just curious on to who will get the advantages when Mayweather and Pac fight each other.

Since Pac one-up May by outdrawing him and facing a real welterweight instead of a bloated 36 yr old Marquez, May should fight Mosley. But May won't take the risk of fighting Shane.....it doesn't make sense to him.

if this fight does'nt get made then there will be disappointment for boxing. i can see a mayweather vs mosley fight happening but not before mayweather and pac.i'm a pfp fan and i love to watch pac fight.they have to make this fight for boxing.
