I stumbled across a video of Jones training. Go to Google and search for "roy jones news". Then click on the Roy Jones News site and then click on the article that says "Roy Jones out to Spill Green's Blood."
Jones looks absolutely monstrous right now for his fight against Green. He looks even bigger now then he did against Ruiz, and I think that could be a mistake if he chooses to fight Hopkins at 175, especially at 40 years old. His body could not handle the massive muscle loss after the Ruiz fight when he was 33 or 34 years old, how will his body respond if he had to lose that much muscle mass for his fight against Hopkins next year?
Since Hopkins has been saying he wants to fight David Haye next year, why don't Hopkins fight Jones at Cruiserweight so Jones don't have to lose so much muscle mass in a short period of time again. I was hoping Jones would weigh 180-185 for his bout against Green, but right now he looks 190+ easily. I really hope Jones knows what he's doing or maybe he is trying to create a built-in excuse if he loses to Hopkins? Who knows but I really am disappointed right now.
