I've seen the sparring session. Every boxing fan saw it back then, it was widely circulated a few years back. It was nothing special, if I remember right. PBF on the ropes and getting hit by Spad. And it was from years before- proves nothing. Fighters work on things in sparring sessions- specific things. To take a clip like that and try to predict what would happen in a live fight is just silly.

And yes, I agree with the sentiment that PBF doesn't really duck anyone. I mean, Spad is probably a bigger fight back then than Diego, and Diego was a much bigger risk with a bigger punch and frame.

Spaddy was a warrior type fighter and Mayweather always beats those warrior type fighters such as N'dou, corley, corrales, and castillo so mayweather would have won that fight any way

I eagerly await Floyd to screw Gatti, then screw the winner of KT/Hatton, exactly like I would do Angelina Jolie.

Fast and hard with a vengeance.

Floyd UD's Hatton, but he doesn't have a prayer of beating a fit Kostya. No way, no how.

And the Gatti fight will be alot closer than many of the PBF cheerleaders think it will be. I think it will go the distance and be a point either way deciding it. I think Gatti will have a 10-8 round, maybe 2. And win several rounds just by agression and landing the harder shots. PBF will have his rounds, too, just with his quick hands and movement. But it will be close if it goes the distance (which I think it will) watch and see.

You think PBF will go after KT, Harris or any other of the big guns at 140?? Im thinkin he goes up to 147 before he fights them. PBF is lookin towards De La Hoya.

But I dont have the tape, I remember hearing about it a while back (B/c i was at one time a Spaddy fan until he decided to shoot his GF)but SpinksJinx said he saw it or had it, it would be nice to see if somebody could post it.

Also thanks for the good comments JoeBoxer, I appreciate it.

And I cant end a post w/ out sayin Gatti will be victorious June 25th.

I'd like to see Kostya fight Pretty Boy. Hell, I really want Pretty Boy to get his ass KO'ed against Gatti, but I don't think it'll happen.

I have never seen Spadafora as a warrior type of fighter outside of the fight with Dorin. He's more of a fighter who fights too defensively and rather make his opponents miss, then jab them then move and repeat.

This just came to my attention that I believe back when PBF was in 135 Spaddy called Mayweather out to fight him but instead Mayweather responed that "i don't need to fight him.....i'm looking for other fights." Somethin along those lines.

If PBF did say this I really dont understand this, what other fights could there be at 135?? Spaddy was and is a undefeated fighter, Spaddy also had a major belt at the time so this would give Mayweather the opportunity to unify 2 belts??

The answer to this question could be that Spaddy roughed PBF up in a sparring session. A friend of mine saw the tape and said he embarassed PBF pretty good.

I just think it funny how Mayweather calls my boy Gatti out for duckin him, when its looks like the Mayweather had dodged some bullets of his own

Also on a side note would like to see a Spadfora/Mayweather to be honest, as much as I dislike Mayweather, and really am losing my intrest in Spaddy as well w/ each day.
Actually Spaddy was signed to be Mayweather's first fight at 140 pounds, but because of Spadafora's legal problems at the time (shooting his girlfriend) most of the "money making" arenas refused to stage the fight and it fell apart. Mayweather camp had to go with Corley instead.
