he won't though, manny has the speed to hit floyd with counters when he comes in. it won't be potshotting, more like pbf stepping in and then stepping out after a quick exchange. then floid will run like a ***** for while until he needs to score some points
WHAT IF PBF "POTSHOTS' his way to a boring decision against pac?

Both offense and defense will win this fight. Offense alone won't win it either if the offensive opponent is getting hit with counter shots all night. And for those too clueless to understand, pot shotting is a part of boxing.Comment

Not to mention in a hundred years when the historian looks at Floyds record, he will simply see a win over another great fighter, and wont care about how.Comment

I think you need to start defining these words that you're throwing out there.
Let me ask you, what do you consider a "great" or "impressive" boxing performance?
It's clear to me, you emphasize greatness on punch output and damage inflicted. You need to start thinking about the sport a little more holistically, and start to appreciate how it's even possible to dominate and make a guy look bad while throwing less than 40 punches per round. Do you realize how hard that is to do?
potshotting a smaller man aint great.......nor impressive.............am i asking him to trade with PAC?....hell no...........if PBF wins am i gonna make excuse.....nope........................but did he rise to the occasion by potshotting a small welterweight............nope.....is it a great win?...........no......Comment

Of course people want an impressive win but it isn't very important. Pacquaio and Mayweather are looked at on an even playing field. They both have accomplished so much and both are looked at as the two best fighters of the era, no one even close. These guys are so even, so to think one or the other should win easily is insulting to both fighters. It should be an even fight because they are equally skilled. If one does blow out the other I think its fair to say that that guy is clearly the better of the fighters, and the greatest of the era. This fight decides a lot imo but it should be an even matchup and shouldn't be a dominant win for either man.Comment
