Because he was actually in the fight half way through whereas Marquez was taken to school every second of every round , winning no rounds at all really. Just because he finished on his feet doesn't mean he did better.

Had Hatton been content to lose on the cards and try and survive like Jmm did, he would have finished as well. At leas Ricky went for it.

I suggest you go to Boxrec and brush up and go watch both fights again before responding to me again mr. Johnny-come-lately.

      Cute.

Amir is not on that level yet and would most certainly get stopped by any version of Hatton at this point.

JMM is my second best fighter, but I think he will not win against Hatton in 140lbs! Hatton is still a significant force to reckon in JWW and IMO, he can even beat Bradley! The way I looked at JMM when he fought Floyd, JMM effective fighting weight had reached its limit at 135lbs, and therefore has no business above Lightweight!

Hatton does not allow people to time him the way Marquez doe. It will be a war.

Floyd had the athletis and skills to move and make his space and fight on the inside.

Pac had the power and speed and always liked to brawl.

Marquez is alread on th slide awell. His style will struggle with a Ricky that hugs and puts on pressure.

Hatton should have just continued sleeping when he was KTFO in round 2...he needs a rest in Ricky Wonderland.

Hatton is underrated but i don't see way Marquez would want this fight. He ain't gonna KO Hatton inside two rounds, and even if he wins no one is going to care because Hatton just got destroyed by Pac. I Marquez would lose to Hatton it would be really bad for his career.

You are mostly right, but I think he's accomplished enough to where he feels like he needs a good payday with someone like Hatton and then he can cash out.

I take Hatton anywhere above 140 lbs. Marquez just didn't look himself.*

(Of course Floyd had a lot to do with that)
