Mayweather Sr is the best trainer for a defensive-minded boxer like Guzman, Mayweather, Hopkins etc but he's horrible for fighters like Hatton, Cotto, Pacquiao etc.

I don't know if Sr is still training Guzman.

No. Don't know what happened there, but what fighter has been able to deal with Mayweather for more than 1 training camp other than De La Hoya?

Dawson, Hatton, and Guzman haven't been able to, and not even his son wants to train with him.

guzman don't needs floyd sr, guzman don't need any trainer... GBP just told guzman to get crackhead as a trainer to give his team more visibility.

ok i was just wondering

because even though i dislike mayweather sr, he gives good pep talks in the corner during rnds

i hope guzman wins anyway but funeka has crazy height and reach

does anyone think this will have a bearing or not

campbell has a one inch shorter reach then diaz so cant really use him as an example

67 for guz
72 for funeka

i suppose guz does have the speed to get inside and out!!

am gonna have a bet on guzman to win by decision!!

That combination with Floyd Sr. and Guzman was lethal. Floyd Sr. was the right man for Guzman regardless of how annoying Sr can be. Don't forget to mention how Floyd Sr is constantly in the media, would have helped get Guzman's name out there. To answer the TS, Floyd Sr. isn't training Guzman. I posted a recent video on that, he said someone else was training him but I can't remember name. Will have to watch again.

this is gonna be a tough fight for guzman.

what guzman needs to do is throw the right-hand over the top (ala campbell) and play defense until funeka slows down a little.
