No they didn't have a gameplan. The training camp was awful, and Ricky just decided to go for the quick KO.
Honestly, Did Hatton and Mayweather Sr. had any game plan going into the PAC fight?!

1.With the help of the hometown referee.
2.That's because Mayweather was on the defensive and was only looking to catch Hatton on his way in. I believe if Mayweather stood his ground and fought him on the inside , the fight would've ended quicker. If you watch the fight again, Floyd got the better when they fought on the inside.
3.Because PAC>>>>>>>>>>>>Hatton.
Too much punches, speed (hand and foot)and power for a very wide open Ricky Hatton.Last edited by VERDUGO; 11-28-2009, 06:20 PM.Comment

And there was also an excuse made for Cotto on here yesterday, again, over-trained.
Everyone who gets in the ring with Pacquiao over-trains. Coincidence?

I know.
So it this the official excuse on why he lost, or can we just be honest and say Hatton would never beat Pacquiao in a million years, regardless of training? The boy was hopelessly outclassed.

Of course there was a plan. In case you have forgotten, Floyd sr did box professionally. He knows more about boxing than the people who post mindless post on boxing websites. With that said, a plan means nothing when the opponent is superior as Pacquiao was to Hatton. Hatton did not move his head enough and probably was unable to at this stage of his career.Floyd Sr. doing the mitts right-handed the whole camp. Hatton sparring with superfeatherweights. Floyd Sr. saying Ricky can beat PAC without a trainer. I think they just did a lot of cardio in their training camp, the rest of time was spent on writing poems and thinking of trash talk...Comment
