Just from that interview it looks to me like he's resigned himself to losing to Bernard already. Its just the manner by which he will do it is unexpected to him. He may want to just go the 12 rounds.

I'm just thinking this from when the guy brought up the Jones Hopkins rematch, he was about to answer it like it was a foregone conclusion, then he just made some slight statement to seeing how his fight with Bernard would go first.
