Should manny fight margarito as a tune up at 147?

Manny does not need a tune up . There is one fight out there for him and that is Mayweather. Margarito would be an interesting fight but if anyone needs a tune up between Manny and Floyd it is Floyd.

Why does Marg even deserve a shot with Manny? Even taking away the wraps scandal the skilless wonder got KTFO'd by a guy who couldn't get a fight with Manny or Mayweather either how Marg deserves the exposure or payday is beyond me.

If you look at a fighters career it,s margarito... Just look back at some his fights i say about a few years back and this guy had speed and he wasn,t as slow as he is now... I would contribute this to his chin and getting nailed but didn,t effect him until later on in his career...

Well it's a technical and speed mismatch, and if Manny can move, in and out, and stay out of harms way for 12 he wins easy. But there is a dramatic size advantage for Margarito (you would be looking at a near 20 lb difference on fight night, plus height and reach) and Margarito doesn't stop coming.

Still I think Manny would beat him, he's got the skill to outbox him easy, and the stamina to do it for 12 rounds. It would be interesting to see if he could hurt Margarito, especially now since Margarito has a KO loss on his record. But I doubt he would risk trading with such a bigger man.
