Mayweather wouldn't fight Pacquaio toe-to-toe
Mayweather ran the entire fight

No, I will not give any excuses if Pacman looses to Floyd, this is boxing. Sometimes you win sometime you loose. Moreover, it's more than enough for Pac to prove more in boxing, he already contributed so much to the boxing world, he brought back the excitement that fans really need. He put boxing again in the mainstream.
