i think the easiest answer is manny throws 10X more effective punches and never lets you breather in there. how can you ever regroup after getting hurt when he just attacks attacks attacks

clottey used the same defense as winky does, the turtle shell defense. protect your face aswell your body with your arms. clottey doesnt fight like Manny do, Manny keep on moving and moving. clottey stay stationary, thats why cotto's jab is effective against him, but with Manny as i said before basic wont work against Pac. he's so unorthodox and the speed he used is just amazing.

Because, the strategy that Cotto`s nutritionist used was based on the flawed premise that Cotto was faster and stronger than Pacquiao. (if Cotto boxed from round one and picked his spots, he could have had a better chance...same results though...)

yep, clottey doesn't throw enough, he could've won if he didn't let off the gas pedal late, but you gotta give cotto credit cause he can run as good as floyd
