Top 5 Longest Reigning Current Champions Appreciation Thread

This is a thread dedicated to the 5 longest reigning current world champions. They say it is much harder to hold on to the title than it is to win it. So show your appreciation for these world champions who or however they did it, they have held on to their titles.....you maybe surprised at the list but this is what I discovered in my research.

    1. Omar Andres Narvaez- WBO Flyweight champion, 16 defenses. Won 07-13-2002 from Adonis Rivas UD.
    2. Chris John- WBA Featherweight champion, 12 defenses. Won(interim title) 09-26-2003 from Oscar Leon SD.
    3. Hozumi Hasegawa- WBC Bantamweight champion, 9 defenses. Won 04-16-2005 from Veeraphol Sahaprom UD.
    4. Celestino Caballero- WBA Super Bantamweight champion, 10 defenses. Won(interim title) 10-15-2005 from Yober Ortega UD.
    5. Sergiy Dzinziruk- WBO light middleweight champion, 5 defenses. Won 12-03 2005 from Daniel Santos UD.

If you find anything contradictory to my findings let me know and I will check it out but I put some time in researching this and I expect replies.....

    Hasegawa is the goods.

I think an interesting fight would be Hasegawa v Caballero.

Caba is far too big IMO.

Roy Jones should be on the list, just because he's so great and I love him.

Hasegawa's a good fighter, I thought I read on here that he was planning on vacating his belt soon

To be fair, Caballero is big for just about everyone at super bantamweight. However, it's a big advantage for him.

That's what I've been reading. I've been reading that he'd move up for a while though.

He may vacate after his next defense, according to infro released from the recent WBC conference. I think Mares will be fighting in an elimanator in order to challenge him, if Hasegawa doesn't vacate.

                  They were massive at 122.

I'd love to see a Hasegawa-Moreno unification fight, but I doubt it's going to happen.
