I kind of take that back now. I think its a great fight for both guys but I always use to get upset when 2 guys like this have to fight eachother. I would like to see both get there shot. I would like to see both get a shot at a Bradley, Khan, JMM, Hatton, or whatever. I hate to see that one of these guys will be knocked down a peg and may never get a real shot after that. They both deserve there own shot

I know what you mean but I think the more these cross-road fights happen the better for boxing I feel. That's the true nature of our sport, that there should be great contender matches, not just champion vs contender. Also I think it helps to discourage the notion that only undefeated fighters deserve air-time.

Besides if they are really good fighters they will rise back.

By the way I know Alexander is a titlist, but I'm just referring to the likes of Bradley as Champion for sake of argument.

This is a very serious test for Alexander. Maidana is no fluke and and WAY better than anybody Alexander ever fought.

I like this fight.

Alexander is a very talented young fighter, but as crude as Maidana is, he's better than Alexander's previous opponents and brings an awkward, hard punching style.
