I have always said Joan Guzman would beat Marquez. Marquez is great no doubt but Joan Guzman's speed, defense and almost equivalent counter punching ability, I say Guzman U.D.

I'd make a lot of money betting on Guzman.

The speed and movement of JG would throw off the classic boxer. This fight would tell people where Guzman is at and writers would really have to consider him for the Hall of Fame. Too bad it'll never happen.

Joan Guzman moves too much, Guzman UD12. That's not exactly Marquez' favorite type of style to fight. Hatton-Marquez would be more competitive.

Guzman vs Bradley is a better match in terms of styles.
