That was only the first round, fights arnt based on one round, Pac could have adjusted and Cotto didnt win the round big anyway. But oddly it was Cotto who adjusted from what was working, go figure, thinking he was stronger than Pac. The fights to look at the Marquez fights, can Floyd do what Marquez did and better? Absolutely.

I couldn't say he was winning easily when he boxed Pac, he was already hurt at that point but probably could have done better if he had boxed right of the start of it. Cotto landed some nice jabs once he started boxing Pac. Replace him with Mayweather (One of the greatest skilled & defensive boxers ever) and that fight would have went much differently for Pac. Pac can't beat Mayweather just like Tyson couldn't beat Ali, IMO.

I don't understand why people think the way to beat Manny is to go right at him and beat him with his own game. If a guy is better at it sure but to me the stylistic way to beat Manny is not to fight except when a fighter has the advantage.

Manny wants it to be an all out front on front war while Floyd would want to make it a gorilla war, no matter how strong an army is they can never apply full force if the other side does not oblige them.
