I never thought that. I thought Manny would win a tuff fight and maybe stop Cotto. I knew Cotto gets hit about as easy as anyone. Zab hit him, Quintana hit him, shane hit him, margarito hit him. I mean everyone he fights hits him, and now he is going to fight a guy just as fast as shane and Zab with faster feet and hes an energizer bunny, and cotto fades after 8 rounds. I swear, thats what I was thinking BEFORE the fight not after.

After the fight I was amazed at what Pac did to Cotto. I was probably more amazed after what Trinidad did to William Joppy. He went up in weight in his first fight to fight a 30-1 champion. Demolished him in 5 rounds, knocking him down 3 times.

Bernard and morso Floyd have superior defence on there side. Trinidad couldn't land on Bernard, A usual 50% land percentage was reduced to less than 20%. The same will happen to Pac. His high connect percentage will go down and Floyd will pick him apart.

Unlike most people on this board I will take account for everything I say. If Pac beats Floyd, in my eyes he will be tied with Roy Jones Jr as the best ever. Yes tied. I'd have to put him on Roy's level. If you can hit Floyd, there is noone in the history of Boxing he can't get too, except maybe a prime Roy Jones. I'd also be saying that he is better than he was when he fought Marquez. Now if he fought Marquez again and fought him to a draw again, then I would have to take him down from Roy level and put him on Floyd level because Floyd smashed on Marquez. That tells me that as fighters Floyd-Marquez-Pac are all on the same level as they can only beat one of each other.

How can Cotto be compared to Hopkins? Cotto doesn't have the defense, crafty style, dirty tactics at the right time, and accuracy that Hopkins has, and no not even now that Hopkins is 45 and Cotto is 28-29 Hopkins is still the better fighter overall.

Whoever said that just insulted the sport of boxing.
