    I don't understand corners when they're telling their fighter to jab, jab

    when it's already the final round and their man is clearly beaten. For example, Cotto's corner. Santiago kept telling him to jab, jab. I'm like WTF, there's no more time to establish or re-establish the jab.

    There's really only one thing to say to a fighter who is pretty much behind on all cards, and that's to tell him to go out there and get the K.O.

    i think its more to remind them to stay busy. jabs arent only offensive.

      Probably jab so he can setup his power shots while blinding the opponent with the jab.
